The Gospels (Matthew

The Gospels (Matthew 25:31-35, for example, or Luke 3:11) are UNAMBIGUOUS about social justice. Totally unambiguous. Anyone who turns a blind eye or a deaf ear to these words is unfaithful to what Christ lived and died for.

I offer these inspired words by martyr for the poor, Archbishop Oscar Romero: "How do I treat the poor? Because that is where God is. The degree to which you approach them, and the love with with you approach them, or the scorn with which you approach them - that is how you approach your God. What you do to them, you do to God. The way you look at them is the way you look at God."
